Pastor Tim Powell and Rebecca

The Lord called Pastor Tim Powell and his wife Rebecca to Calvary Baptist Church in the summer of 2011 to lead the music. In addition to his role as choir director, Tim served as Adult Sunday School teacher and eventually the Pastoral Assistant. Rebecca has served in many capacities within the church including church pianist, children’s choir director, children’s church teacher, and more.

After the homegoing of our beloved Pastor Richard Smith, the Lord called Tim to continue the work at Calvary. Tim first served as Interim Pastor and on April 10, 2022, recognizing the call of the Lord on his life, the membership of Calvary Baptist voted to call Tim as the full-time pastor.
