Please join us for our annual spring picnic being held this year at The Edge Christian Camp in Spring Grove, VA.

As in past years, the church will provide roasted pork barbeque and hot dogs for all. Each family should bring a side dish and dessert, as well as drinks for your own family (no alcohol of course).

Lunch will begin at 12:00pm, but if you would like to enter your dessert into the dessert contest, you should have it there by 11:00am. Please feel free to arrive an hour or two early to explore the beautiful grounds of The Edge Christian Camp!

We ask that certain appropriate attire be worn: at least knee-length shorts and no spaghetti straps, tank tops, or spandex apparel please.

Also, while we do hope you bring friends and your whole family, please do not bring your pets.

There will be many activities available for the day including volleyball, cornhole, kickball, and more that you can enjoy for free. You can even fish from the beach for free (state freshwater license required). The camp offers other activities in which you can participate for a fee including canoe, kayak, or paddleboard rental, ice cream shop, and more (so bring some extra cash if you want to try some other events).

Remember to bring these things that you might find useful: lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, and essential items your family might need. There are restroom facilities and indoor dining facilities for our use.
